Orange Is The New Black” standout Uzo Aduba has had a breakout year, winning her very first Emmy Award for her role as “Crazy Eyes” in the hit NETFLIX series. So it was only right she was chosen as one of the 2014 Women Who Dare by Harper’s Bazar.


Donning a Carolina Herrera dress and Stephen Webster pendant, the first generation Nigerian-American actress revealed the day she got the part for the NETFLIX show was the day she decided to quit acting. As a theater actress, she had been auditioning for roles, but nothing was happening.



The 13-year-old baseball prodigy with a 70-MPH fastball. Mo’Ne Davis rose to fame after becoming the first female in history to pitch a shut out game at the Little League World Series. Her big accomplishment was highlighted on Sport’s Illustrated August 25th cover.



As only the fourth American girl to ever make it to the World Series, Mo’Ne has been the main topic in Little League baseball, but revealed she actually enjoys another sport more than baseball.
