Evolve With KISS..

On Tuesday, July 7th the city of Atlanta extended its southern hospitality for the Chicago based magazine. The private release affair held in the Atlantic Station area at the new high-end production facility Studio2B, was the talk of the town. KISS Magazine re-introduced its publication to the Atlanta fashion scene. The private affair was comprised of many of the who’s who in the Fashion and Entertainment industry. The event sponsor D’USSÉ cognac provided an open bar for the 120 + attendees, while they enjoyed the sounds of Core DJ Muzik Manny. In true art gallery style KISS Magazine displayed 20 photo from over 6 years of publication work along the walls. Event-goers were also able to see the exclusive celebrity photo collection of Photographer Dewayne Rogers.

The highlight of the event guests were able to view a special mini presentation of two mid-west collections: First up was Larry Andrew who debuted a few pieces from Asia Mynor Summer 2015 collection.

Designer Larry Andrew a graduate of IADT and Milwaukee native put together his best collection to date. Asia Mynor the name of his clothing line is not stranger to the national stage with reality star clientele such as: Malaysia Pargo, Kimbella , Erica Mena, and Emily B. A few pieces from the new Summer 2015 collection that was on display featured a combination of stretched cottons, neoprime, and silk taffeta. Designers shy away from untraditional colors for Summer however Larry went against the grain using Blacks, yellows, neon blue and neon yellow with touch of White in his pieces. Larry expressed he just wanted to combine elements of athletic wear with his vogue signature style.

The Who’s who of the fashion industry came out..

The night couldn’t have been special without so many special guest(s) showing up. Atlanta has an emerging fashion culture and many of the who’s who were present at the event. From Angela Watts the Fashion Director of RagTrade Atlanta, to the Glenn Twins, to Shawn Michael Kontrol Magazine, Rolling Out. We were truly honored to see so much support from the ATL. Next up was Veronica Ariel’s S/S 2015..

Veronica Ariel and Asia Mynor. The Veronica Ariel Summer Collection 2015 is comprised of 12 pieces. For the evening Veronica selected 6 pieces to give the event-goers just a taste of the overall collection. The collection is comprised of bold prints, neon colors, spandex, and ombre color pieces. She wanted the silhouettes to be fun, flirty and girly. Going with more swimsuits this year than the past she wanted to put her stamp on the Summer, by going retro with the one-piece. Fabrics used were neoprime, silk charmeuse, and spandex. Veronica wants her clientele to be comfortable in the Summer weather using these fabrics for collection which are easy to wear in Summer temperatures.
