Kanye Ditches Nike for Adidas Deal
While on his radio promo tour run, Kanye West hit up Hot 97′s Angie Martinez to discuss his current situation in the world of fashion, music, fatherhood, and even love life with Kim (who was also present with him during the interview). During the interview he mentioned the struggle between him and Nike over the partnership and the business side of thing such as royalties for his contribution of the shoe. Here is an an excerpt of what he said “The old me might have taken this Nike deal because I just love Nike so much, blah, blah, blah,” he said, “But the new me with a daughter takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my daughter.”
