Lea T.’s scheduled to film a segment for one of Oprah’s final shows. The transgendered model’s best known for her central role at Givenchy; she was Riccardo Tisci’s assistant and now she’s his muse and fit model. The 28-year-old’s profile started to rise after she was shot for French Vogue last year and appeared in Tisci’s brilliant couture collection, as well as the house’s fall ad campaign and spring runway. The segment’s set to air in February.

It hasn’t been filmed yet (and her reps in Milan can’t comment until after it’s aired), but regardless of the focus of the piece, it’s a big deal. Few models make it onto Oprah, especially not those whose careers are just starting, or those rising to fame on the platform of being different. Fame within the fashion community is one thing, but it’s nothing compared to what Oprah can do. At the very least, her conversation with Oprah won’t be boring (and if she wears Givenchy, neither will the outfits).

The explosion of the Transocean Deepwater Horizon rig on April 20 killed 11 people and led to the BP oil spill – the largest in U.S. history and second-largest in world history – that threatens coastal Louisiana, Gulf Coast fisheries and Gulf of Mexico ecosystems.

Hundreds of miles of shoreline are oiled; tens of thousands of square miles of Gulf waters remain closed to fishing; thousands of birds, fish, turtles and marine mammals have died, millions of gallons of chemical dispersant were used deep underwater, and the ecosystem could remain contaminated in unpredictable ways for years or decades to come. Others are predicting a quick recovery, though; only time will tell.

Ohhh the fashion of SATC never disappoints. Whether it is the 30 min episodes or the full length movie, SATC continues to be a walking billboard for top designers. We at KISS Magazine, do not consider ourselves to be a fashion forward magazine; however, in time, things will change. So we thought it would only be right to look at just a few of the outfits worn in the movie.

The photos we selected don’t even scratch the surface of all the outfits worn and designers in the movie. Renowned SATC stylist Patricia Field continues to push the envelope each time with one or two odd outfits. Probably the best part of the movie for me was seeing the 80′s flashbacks with each of the ladies, and the old skool walkman Samantha had on… great touch.

Dior Couture was heavy through the movie as well as YSL , and the hottest show maker going right now Christian Louboutin .
