PUSS in BOOTS
I conceptualized this series called “Puss in Boots” which, at its inception, was defined as a series of images with black women redefining the current stereotypes by combining elements of their soft looks and skin with hard boots and tough attitudes (based roughly on the 4 characters from Sex in the City). I didn’t want to hold back anymore I wanted to show some sex but show some fashion, so we pulled these REALLY awesome boots and got to clicking and colliding.
On the Atlanta based set, I got to work with models Shawna Jalynn and Angelus Copeland I was also reunited by Stylist/Makeup Artist Lingkoya Washington and for the first time got to work with Hairstylist Ms. Q, who can do some very dynamic and beautiful things with hair
