All Access: Black Carpet Fashion Show

KISS Banner

Chicago has begun an emergence as a titan amongst the fashion forward cities of the world. For years it has been only known for its commercial fashion and corporate sectors due to being the home base of companies such as Ebony Magazine, AKIRA, & Jet magazine . In recent years, a fresh wave of young fashion designers have surfaced in the windy city. They are unafraid to push against trends and refuse to follow rules, which is the very nature of fashion itself. We were given VIP Access to the “The Black Carpet” fashion show, held on Sunday, May 30th at the Illinois Institute of Technology .

The show featured 8 of the cities new daring fashion designers and musical artists including (but not limited to): Creatistic Wear, Socialite by Veronica Ariel, REDLINE clothing (as seen in AKIRA stores) Urban Punk , DatBoyHot, Demi Lobo, and much more.

KISS Magazine
is the only high end urban magazine that is free to the fashion and entertainment industries.

Do you still purchase magazines from stores or newstands?

How much do you pay for a magazine if you purchase?

What gender are you?
