The 2014 Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday was wonderful as expected. Not only was the red carpet on fire but so was the stage. Celebrities handed out a dozen well deserved awards to their fellow peers. With artist Justin Timberlake racking up seven Billboard Music Awards. Host Ludacris did a great job carrying the show along with 19 musical performances. Artist such as Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX, Shakira, Lorde, Jason Derulo, and the talent John Legend all brought their A-game. Their voices and their outfit selection had the audience buzzing in Las Vegas, Nevada.
However, the night was taken over by the holographic image/performance of the late and talented Michael Jackson. Performing “Slave To The Rhythm” in a classic eye catching gold blazer, the audience stood to their feet in a vibrant applause and awe taking the throne. Having already killed her competition on the red carpet in a stunning Donna Karan red dress, the Billboard Icon Award was presented to the beautiful Jennifer Lopez. Closing the show with her electrifying performance and speech was more than inspiring to viewers of all ages across America. This years Billboard Music Awards gets two thumbs up from us!
