How many castings did you go to before landing your first video?
I think I went to about 3 castings before I landed my first gig. In Atlanta it is very competitive to get into the video industry. I was fortunate to run across a few casting agents that really helped me out and love my look.

In your words what makes a quality Video shoot?  What makes a horrible one?
At first I honestly didn't know the difference between a quality video shoot and a bad. After doing a few videos in 2007 now it is so easy to tell. A quality shoot things start on time, the production crew is very organized, even being a model you are treated with respect. The director is very experienced and knows how to lead his team to get things done in a timely manner. Now a horrible video shoot, which I have been on a couple, is just the opposite. I have been on video shoots that didn't start filming until 3 hours after starting call time. The models were made to wait in a seperate area and not allowed to eat food, or even go to the bathroom.

You have recenlty worked with some big named artist, but if you had to pick any artist today which one would you really want to  be a lead in his/her video?
It would have to be Jay-Z, all of his videos are classy and top notch, and you know
it will be in heavy rotation. I also love the way his models are featured in
the videos, they look like they have stylist, hair styilst, and good make up
artist on set.

Has your website helped your career?
The website helps me by giving people access to me in a different way. I am a fan of myspace I have dozens of photos on there, however my website keeps my fans connected to me on a personal basis. My fan base is growing each month, and my opportunties as well, so my website does what other internet tools can't.

What is the best site you have seen and why?
I would have to say Tyra Banks, have you seen Tyra Banks website? The website is an experience and visual pictural of her career and her life.

In an oversatured market of magazines there are so many for models, if you could only do 1 more magazine, which would it be and why?
I would love to do KING Magazine, they are at the top of the game and I have big dreams so why not go for the top.

Six months ago nobody knew of Morgan Jolly, would you consider yourself an overnight success?
This really hasn't come overnight in all honesty. I started modeling a couple of years ago in Detroit. I was working with a guy named Cool C and I did his calender. Then I just stopped because it was discouraging and not enough work in Detroit. That is when my best friend and I decided to move to Atlanta a little over a year ago. Once I got in Atlanta things still were slow motion, until I hooked up with two guys Treagen my photographer and Sean who is like my advisor. They more so have educated and worked with me on a one of one bases and to educated in modeling is better than somebody doing everything for you. So this has not been overnight but I thank God for the success as of late.

What do you do everyday to become a better model and potential actress?
For one I wake up every morning and check my emails, myspace and various sites. I believe the internet is a valuable tool so you have to stay connected. Then I work out, I will admit I slacked off for a second but I have been in the gym religiously the last few months. I take acting classes and I just surround myself with positive things to progress my career.

What makes modeling worth it to you?
Modeling is a gateway to things I want to do. Modeling opens up doors that the average person couldn't get through. I have been at events with celebrities, managers, casting directors, magazines editors, and these are the people that run the entertainment industry. I am not the type of model that parties without a purpose. I am strong on my networking and that is what has kept me working the last few months. I have a plan to launch my business in 2008, and you will see me not only in front of the camera but behind the scenes as well.
