Jeremy Scott and New Era have collaborated on another head wear collection. This Spring 2013 Collection consists of several snapbacks all featuring out-of-the ordinary designs which Scott has become known for. These are set to release May 20th, 2013. Prices has not been determined yet.

Just Don have released their new collection, using an acid wash twist on the custom caps, each with a multi-colored acid wash-upper and popular python/leather brim. These exclusive caps feature the Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets, all models come with a rear buckle strap with inside tagging. The Just Don (Acid Wash Denim Collection) is available now over at the KITH NYC Online shop in very limited quantities. These babies are $450 a pop!

Well beautiful, glowing skin, and a BOLD  lip are a stand-out trend for Spring/Summer 2013. Whether you like pastels, matte,  neons, or something a little more classic, there’s a perfect lipstick shade for you. A pop of color and a neutral eye makes the face look youthful, fashion-forward, and fun! It’s an eye-catching look and its perfect for this season.

Here are the steps to get the look!

1. When wearing a bright lip, keep all other make-up simple!
2. Use a concealer to make skin as flawless as possible. Apply concealer to the corners of the eyes, under the eyes, and the corners of the nose.
3. For eyes, apply a lid primer and a wash of color in a muted gray or brown.
4. Lightly add mascara to top lashes.
5. For big doll-like eyes, apply a black eyeliner along your top eyelashes, the very bottom of your eyelid. ( This will make your eyelashes appear fuller and thicker, therefore making your eye appear bigger.)
6. Apply a white eyeliner to your waterline. (This make your eyes naturally stick out.)
7. Line the lips with a nude-colored pencil and round out all of the corners.
8. Take a lip brush to fill in lips with desired bold color.

An easy trick to make the color last? Applying foundation all over lips first, setting with powder. Then filling the mouth with nude lip liner to prevent color from bleeding. Make sure before you apply lipstick and make sure your lips are chap-free. You want to make sure your lips are a smooth palette. Bright and bold lips are unforgiving if they are peeling and dry. If you have thin lips don’t worry, a bright hue will add more oomph to your look.

Last Thursday at Lumen, Brooke Mackie presented her debut fashion event, “The Trump Show”.  The Trump Show at Lumen  showcased some of Chicago’s hottest designers and boutiques! We had a great time while watching the gorgeous models strut in inspiring designs from: Everything Lovely, Veronica Ariel, Epitome, Casket, Fashion Geek, Leek O Vision, Jennifer Nashea and Buck50Brand! Pure Dopeness!!

Here’s a few our favorites! Zoe Saldana is such a darling! She’s killing this Givenchy maxi skirt with a super sexy thigh-high slit. Go girl! Kerry Washington is always a jaw dropper!  She poses in Michael Kors high-low gown, Rogier Vivier pumps (so pretty and feminine!), Vhernier earrings and a Jennifer Fisher ring. Holland Roden,  also known as Lydia Martin in her role in “Teen Wolf”, looked so pretty in her mid-length Donna Karan number with dashes of white accents and accessories. Cutie pie Selena Gomez wore a Julien Macdonald mini-dress and cute sparkly pumps.

Uh oh! The following stars were doomed for the “Worst Dressed” list, but of course, our appreciation for daring,  nonchalant style landed them on our “Most Brave” list!
Will Ferrell and Ru Paul really took their styles to another planet last night! Although most would not approve of this gaudy style, monochromatic suits are an upcoming fad that we love! You must have a sort of confidence to rock this look!!   Lastly, Kesha stepped out in this dark, hippie-like ensemble that I am NOT mad at! Critics opposed that she looked “un-polished”, to say the least. MTV is fun & youthful so this look, consisting of lace and fringe was totally necessary!
